KCIS plays a wide range of sports both through regular PE lessons and the school sports squads which play in the International Schools League in Kampala. KCIS Teams have won a sports competition trophy every season since KCIS began. This season KCIS won the International Schools Sports Association (ISSA) Basketball U10s Boys League and came runners up in the Mixed U8s Basketball Jamboree.

Basketball

KCIS fields both boys’ and girls’ basketball teams in the International Schools Sports Association League.

Football

KCIS fields both boys’ and girls’ football teams in the International Schools Sports Association League.

Swimming

Students swim at least once a week throughout the year. They’re trained by swim club coaches & compete in ISSA swim meets.

All students take part in 2 PE (Physical Education) lessons a week. Sports learnt through PE lessons include:
