Based in Naguru, Kampala Community International School (KCIS) is a truly international school, with students from over 25 different countries and teachers from the UK, the US, Europe, India and Africa, including Uganda. Not only do we follow an international curriculum, we utilise international learning methods – our classes are very active, we encourage hands on and outside learning, and take into consideration different learning styles of different individuals.
KCIS was established in response to the need for a truly international education at an affordable price in Kampala. Since its inception, KCIS has grown to serve a diverse community becoming a popular first choice of school, known for the individual attention received by students, our strong academic standards, the wide opportunities available to students and our friendly and supportive community. We are guided by 12 school values.
