Our Year 1 students have been learning all about the Olympics (Ancient and Modern). As part of their learning, they visited the Uganda Olympic Committee Headquarters in Kololo and met with Dr Donald Rukare, the President of the Olympic Committee in Uganda and Ganzi Mugula, the captain of the 2012 Uganda Olympic Team in London. Dr Donald and Ganzi inspired the students to strive for excellence, never give up and respect each other – advice which falls perfectly with KCIS values. Thank you to the Olympic Committee for hosting us!
